Beetham Tower Manchester

Completed since 2006 costing £150 million Beetham Tower Manchester, is the tallest building in Manchester, the highest residential building in Europe and the 7th tallest building in England with over 500,000 square foot of space. The Beetham Tower is 169 metres tall, has a total of 47 floors and is home to the Manchester Hilton Hotel, 219 luxury apartments and 16 penthouses.

“The Beetham Tower is arguably the most recognisable building on the Manchester skyline – it is, for the moment, the tallest at least. The luxurious skyscraper, also home to Hilton Hotel and Cloud 23 bar and formerly a regular extra in Coronation Street when show was filmed at Quay Street in Manchester has some of city centre’s most sought-after flats.”

Award Winning Architecture

The Beetham Tower has received a number of awards for it’s striking design and architecture. In 2008, the Beetham Tower in Manchester was awarded Project of the Year and Design and Construction Award in the RICS North West Awards. In 2007, the Beetham Tower was awarded Best Building by the Concrete Society Awards, Best Tall Building by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats and Project of the Year in North West Regional Construction Awards.

The Hilton Hotel Manchester

The Hilton Hotel is Manchester’s only five-star hotel, with its own Cloud 23 bar on the 22nd floor. The building was designed by architect Ian Simpson and has a striking glass curtain wall facade that shines in the sun. Beetham Tower consists of 219 apartments and 16 penthouses – all are available for rental or purchase from £250k upwards plus service charge per year which equates to an annual ground rent equivalent to 25% of your property value. This makes it one of the most affordable options if you want luxury living just outside Central Manchester at prices comparable with other high quality developments around town such as West Point (formerly known as Salford Quays) and Spinningfields among others.”
